Woman Party Club

Welcome to Woman Party Club of JNY ( Jewish North York Centre)
Добро Пожаловать в наш Party Club Синагоги Русскоязычной Общины Норс Йорка!

Rosh Chodesh is a monthly holiday. It falls on the first day of every lunar month (with the exception of the month of Tishrei – the first day of this month is Rosh Hashanah, the new year).
The holiday of Rosh Chodesh is intended for women to commemorate those events when women disobeyed men who were about to cast a golden calf and refused to give them their golden jewelry. For this deed, Jewish women were rewarded by the Almighty with “the commandment of the new moon in this world, and in the future – that their beauty will be renewed like a young month,” as written in Pirkei de-Rabbi Eliezer (ch. 45).

Our Rosh Hodesh Club

Monthly evenings for women

You will enjoy music, songs and gourmet food in the circle of both old and new friends. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun and feel spiritual and emotional togetherness.
And many more wonderful things: how to prepare your own natural soap bars, paint a beatifull picture, tips & tricks to look good and more…
Evenings start at 8:00 pm

Self-development and spirituality

These unique “women’s only” evenings, taking place at the beginning of each Jewish month, provide interesting lectures and discussions on the various provisions of the Torah and Jewish thought. All participants are united by a common desire to reach a higher level of spirituality, to study deeper and strengthen their connection with the Jewish tradition. It is about all of us, about women and women’s role in Jewish history.
